A portable body-cooling device, comprises: a mask suitable to be positioned on the face of the patient and to cover its mouth and nose； a connector, suitable to connect said mask to a breathable gas container； and a gas container, containing a breathable gas in compressed state, which, when expanded, undergoes cooling.
