PURPOSE:To make it possible to apply a ground-stabilizing process excellent in recoagulating property by use of a ground-coagulating chemical prep. by the addition of gypsum, or gypsum and at least one from a lime, cement and slug to a nonalkaline soln. of water glass. CONSTITUTION:A neutral or acidic soln. of water glass of pH <=8, pref. <=7 is prep. by mixing an aq. soln. of water glass with an acid soln. such as sulfuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric or acetic acid. After gypsum is mixed alone or in combination with at least one selected from a line, cement and slug, with the resulting soln., the resulting mixture is injected into the ground to stabilize the ground. Thus it is possible to firmly recoagulate the ground even when a gel coagulated in the ground is destructed by the influence of injection pressure, etc.
