PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which an excretory opening abutting area of a top sheet is hard to be sticky and remains dry after absorbing menstrual blood and which hardly soils a manufacturing line and other absorbent articles.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent between the top sheet and the back sheet. The liquid-permeable top sheet has a blood lubricant-containing area in an excretory opening abutting area, which includes blood lubricant having kinetic viscosity of 0.01-80 mm2/s at 40°C, a water retention percentage of 0.01-4.0 mass%, and weight average molecular weight of less than 1,000.
