PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which both an excretory opening abutting area and the rear area of a wearer hardly cause a sticky feeling on a top sheet and allow the top sheet to remain dry after absorbing menstrual blood.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent 1. The top sheet has a first blood lubricant-containing area 7 and a second blood lubricant-containing area 8 which each include blood lubricant having kinetic viscosity of 0.01-80 mm2/s at 40°C, a water retention percentage of 0.01-4.0 mass%, and weight average molecular weight of less than 1,000. The first area is overlapped with at least a portion of an excretory opening abutting area of the top sheet which is brought in contact with an excretory opening of a wearer, and the second area is arranged in the rear side of the absorbent article in the long direction compared with the first area.
