PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a deodorizer easily usable to a fiber product and further capable of exhibiting excellent effect to unpleasant odor such as sweat odor stuck to a fiber product.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a deodorizer comprising silicon dioxide and zinc oxide as the main components, and, in the production of the deodorizer, a regulation step is performed. In the regulation step, the regulation of hydrogen ion concentration (pH) is performed using a metal salt aqueous solution causing a metal hydroxide in a weak acid to neutral region. The regulation step is practiced by mixing a silicate aqueous solution to form into the raw material of silicon dioxide, a zinc salt aqueous solution to form into the raw material of zinc oxide and a metal salt aqueous solution causing a metal hydroxide in a weak acid to neutral region.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】繊維製品への使用が容易であるとともに、繊維製品に付着した汗臭等の不快臭に対して優れた効果を発揮し得る消臭剤の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】二酸化ケイ素及び酸化亜鉛を主成分として含有する消臭剤の製造方法であって、消臭剤の製造中に、弱酸性~中性領域で金属水酸化物を生じる金属塩水溶液を用いて水素イオン濃度(pH)の調整を行う調整工程を行う。調整工程は、二酸化ケイ素の原料となるケイ酸塩水溶液、酸化亜鉛の原料となる亜鉛塩水溶液、及び弱酸性~中性領域で金属水酸化物を生じる金属塩水溶液を混合することにより実行される。【選択図】図1
