PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the deodorizing capacity of a deodorant based on a conventional acrylic polymer aqueous solution to cope with every malodor.SOLUTION: The deodorant containing an acrylic polymer with a molecular weight of 500,000 or more, trehalose and a polyphenol compound as main components is an aqueous deodorant obtained by dissolving these components in water together with alcohol to obtain an aqueous solution, adding acid to adjust pH to 4-8 and further adding an antibacterial agent.
