PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art preventing moisture absorption and dew condensation in an absorption bed and a selector valve after stopping a concentrator in a vacuum pressure adsorption type oxygen concentrator.SOLUTION: This pressure swing adsorption type oxygen concentrator 1 includes: a plurality of adsorption columns 105a and 105b filled with adsorbent capable of selectively adsorbing nitrogen rather than oxygen a compressor 103 having a function for supplying pressurized air to the adsorption columns and reducing the pressure into vacuum and channel changeover means 104a and 104b for sequentially changing over a channel between the compressor and the respective adsorption columns to repeat an adsorption step for supplying the pressurized air to the respective adsorption columns and drawing the concentrated oxygen, and a desorption step reducing the pressure of the respective adsorption columns into vacuum and recovering the adsorbent, at a prescribed timing.
