PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing the occurrence of noises and vibrations when a pressure swing adsorption oxygen concentrator stops operation.SOLUTION: The pressure swing adsorption oxygen concentrator 1 includes a plurality of adsorption pipes 105a, 105b charged with an adsorption agent to selectively adsorb nitrogen rather than oxygen, a compressor 103 for supplying the adsorption pipes with pressurized air, and passage switch means 104a, 104b for sequentially switching passages between the compresser and the adsorption pipes and repeating the adsorption step of supplying the adsorption pipes with pressurized air and extract concentrated oxygen from them and the desorption process of decompressing and regenerating the adsorption agent in each adsorption pipe, at a predetermined time interval.
