PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in absorption performance and re-wet property.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises an absorbent core 9 having a longitudinal direction Y, a short direction X and a thickness direction Z. The absorbent core 9 has on one surface, plural ridge parts 20 extending in the longitudinal direction Y, and plural groove parts 18 extending in the longitudinal direction Y, the ridge parts 20 and the groove parts 18 are alternately arranged in the short direction X. The ridge part 20 has plural narrow width parts 20-2 in which a width in the short direction X is narrow intermittently, and plural wide width parts 20-1 in which a width is wider than that of the narrow width part 20-2 and provided between the narrow width parts 20-2.
