The present invention relates to MIC-1 fusion proteins. More specifically, it relates to a compound containing a fusion protein containing a functional variant of human serum albumin at the N-terminus of a fusion protein linked via the MIC-I protein or analog thereof and a peptide linker at the C-terminus of the fusion protein. The compounds of the present invention have MIC-1 activity.
