PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display device, medical image display method, and its program automatically identifiable of a requested cross section included in a medical image and displaying the image of the identified cross section.
SOLUTION: The medical image display device 10 comprises an image acquisition part 12 to acquire three-dimensional image data of the medical image, a cross section identification part 16 to identify the reference cross section included in the medical image from one or more predetermined reference cross sections by analyzing the three-dimensional image data, an image generation part 18 to generate the image data of the reference cross section identified by the cross section identification part 16 from the three-dimensional image data, and a display control part 20 to display the image of the reference cross section on a display part 22 using the image data generated by the image generation part.
