The orthosis (10) has an elastic compressive distal portion (14) for covering ankle and extending to a level of a point, where the Achilles tendon joins calf muscles. A containment proximal portion (16) is extended to the distal portion, and is adjacent to a containment proximal portion such that to cover a periphery of a region of a calf extending between a level (B1) of a junction point between the Achilles tendon and the calf muscle and the level (D) situated beneath tibial tuberosity. The containment proximal portion is continuously knitted with the distal portion. A knit yarn and a weft yarn is spandex with a polyamide and cotton covering.
