The invention further relates to a kit for treating an open soft tissue defect, in particular of an opened abdominal wall (2) or of an open soft tissue defect on the back, having at least one sponge (9, 15, 28) for filling out an opening (7) of a soft tissue defect, in particular in the abdominal wall or of an open soft tissue defect on the back, and having such a device (11) for reducing the retraction of the edges (4.1) of an opened fascia (4).
