The machine is for the fixture of an animal for blood sampling for analysis, artificial insemination, rectal examination, veterinary examination and treatment, hoof and claw care and for taking measurements in connection with external appraisal. It incorporates a platform (1) for the fixture of the rotary axis (2). Side walls (3) are immovably fixed on the platform. The animal moves over the floor surface (4) to the fixation unit (10). In this way an easy rectal examination of the animal is possible. Through the movement of a lever (5) twin levers (8,9) are set in motion, and a loop (6) causes their movement when the lever (5) is moved. The neck movement of the animal is thus restricted. The fixation unit limits the movement of the twin levers in the areas (11) whilst the animal is fixed.
