A two-component local injection solution for submucosal injection, comprising the following (i) and (ii): (i) a polysaccharide aqueous solution containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of sodium alginate, carrageenan, and gellan gum； and (ii) an aqueous salt solution containing at least one cation selected from the group consisting of sodium ions and calcium ions, wherein when the polysaccharide is sodium alginate, the cation comprises calcium ions.
