PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide genetically modified animals, methods for screening agents and the like, which are useful for diagnosis/treatment of Alzheimer's disease and for development thereof and, further, useful for diagnosis/treatment of other neurodegenerative diseases and for development thereof. SOLUTION: Non-human animals and the like, caused abnormality on material trafficking function in neurocyte by expressing mutated protein which is suppressed in expression, in neurocyte, of yata molecule comprising an amino acid sequence represented by a specific sequence, or a gene encoding the homolog of other kinds, or which is deleted the trafficking function inherent to the gene products, are provided.
