The present invention extends to the compound of formula I:(see formula I)or a prodrug, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or solvate of said compoundFurthermore, the present invention is directed to a pharmaceutical compositioncomprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of the compound of formula I,and apharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Furthermore, the present invention isdirected tothe use of a compound of formula I as an inhibitor of tryptase, comprisingintroducingthe compound into a composition comprising tryptase. In addition, the presentinventionis directed to the use of a compound of formula I for treating a patientsuffering from, orsubject to, a physiological condition in need of amelioration of an inhibitorof tryptasecomprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount ofthecompound of Claim 1. The present invention is directed also to the preparationof acompound of formula I.
