PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application device for a patch by which a patch can be applied to a desired affected part more easily and reliably than before, and a method of applying the patch.SOLUTION: An application device 1 used for applying a patch includes first and second plate-like members 2A, 2B which temporarily hold the patch and a connecting member 3 for connecting the first and the second plate-like members 2A, 2B. The first and the second plate-like members 2A, 2B are provided with sticking parts 14A, 14B which stick protective films of the patch that are held by the plate-like members, respectively.
