The Lactobacillus plantarum R48-27 strain of the present invention excellently secretes lignocellulose-degrading enzyme such as cellulase, chitinase, xylanase, and esterase, and also instantly increases acidity. When the Lactobacillus plantarum R48-27 strain is used for fermentation by adding the same in the production of silage, it is possible to effectively reduce contamination by other molds, and production of high quality silage with enhanced digestion rate is possible owing to reduced amounts of lignum.
