PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sushi that is visually colorful, nice with alcohol, and easy to eat.SOLUTION: A substantially columnar sushi 1 comprises a core-like ingredient 4, sushi rice 3, and a sheet-like ingredient 2 with different taste and color from that of the core-like ingredient 4. The sheet-like ingredient 2 is arranged from at least one of sea food, meat, and vegetables. The sushi 1 is prepared by placing the sushi rice 3 on the sheet-like ingredient 2, arranging the core-like ingredient 4 along an axial direction of the sushi 1, and rolling them spirally.
