The device has stage cultivating and lower cultivating structures made of transparent/translucent plastic material to permit a passage of light to plants e.g. pot plants, where the structures are in the form of a soil container that is opened on the top. The container has an opening (13) that retains a water surface in a lower part of the structures, where the stage structures are folded by a frame (4) and are maintained above the lower structure to form a space of minimum height of 25 centimeter between the stage and lower structures. The material has a simple/double hollow structure. An independent claim is also included for a cultivating installation comprising a cultivating device.
