The bag has a liquid impermeable material e.g. plastic sheet, and an opening for inserting a hygiene article. Two essentially square sheets (1b, 2b) lie on top of each other and are made of the relatively liquid impermeable material, where the sheets are bonded to each other along two square sides lying adjacent to each other. The sheets have dimensions such that the bag permits reception of the hygiene article and subsequent manual tying of two free corners of the sheets for closing the bag. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing identical disposal bags.
