PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator, in which an ion generating part, which is mounted on a passage wall of a flow path for ventilating air sent from a blower to discharge it outside, can be cleaned by air sent from existing blowers.SOLUTION: The ion generating part 4 is mounted on the passage wall of the flow path 21 for ventilating air sent from the blower to discharge it outside. A guide body 6 for guiding some of the air toward the ion generator 4 is movably provided between a guide position and a non-guide position.
