This invention relates to prostheses, more particularly to an articulating prosthesis. More particularly, but not exclusively, the invention relates to an articulating prosthesis for a finger or a toe, which may be simply produced to specifically attach the prosthesis to a stub of a given finger or toe, or to the hand or foot itself in the absence of a stub. The invention furthermore also extends to a method of manufacturing such prosthesis. The prosthesis includes: a base adapted to be mountable on a stub of an amputated finger； a tip being pivotably securable to the base and displaceable between an extended position and a retracted position, actuating means for displacing the tip from the extended position to the retracted position, the tip being biased towards the extended position.La présente invention concerne des prothèses, et plus particulièrement une prothèse articulée. Plus particulièrement, mais pas exclusivement, l'invention concerne une prothèse articulée pour doigt ou orteil, qui peut être produite de manière simple en vue de fixer spécifiquement la prothèse au moignon d'un doigt ou orteil donné, ou à la main ou au pied eux-mêmes en l'absence de moignon. En outre, l'invention s'étend également à un procédé de fabrication d'une telle prothèse. La prothèse comprend : une embase prévue pour pouvoir être montée sur un moignon de doigt amputé ； un bout susceptible d'être fixé de manière pivotante à l'embase et de se déplacer entre une position déployée et une position rétractée, un moyen d'actionnement servant à faire passer le bout de la position déployée à la position rétractée, le bout étant sollicité vers la position déployée.
