The present invention relates to a stretcher comprising: a flat plate-structured upper support plate for carrying a patient； an inclination adjustment means having one end coupled to the lower part of the upper support plate to lift one surface of the upper support plate from the ground so as to incline the posture of the patient, who is received on the upper support plate, at a predetermined angle with respect to the ground； and a lower support plate installed on the lower part of the upper support plate to support the other end of the inclination adjustment means so as to support a load of the upper support plate transferred from the inclination adjustment means. Accordingly, the present invention provides a technology to remove a subsidiary problem generated when the inclination adjustment means for changing the posture of the patient is installed in the stretcher. According to the present invention, the lower support plate is installed between the ground and the inclination adjustment means, thereby providing a horizontal structure of the stretcher even when an installation portion of the stretcher is uneven. A supporting load of the inclination adjustment means is distributed along the lower support plate to be transferred to the ground, thereby largely reducing deformation and breakage of a portion in which the stretcher is installed.
