PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher separation type bed capable of suppressing risk of overturn and capable of being moved safely, with a simple method.SOLUTION: A stretcher separation type bed comprises: a stretcher 3 and a bed body 2 to which the stretcher can be coupled in a separable manner for forming a bed 1. The stretcher comprises a body support part 4, a base part 5 and a movement part 6, the movement part comprises: a pair of front wheels 8 a front side wheel support member 7a a pair of rear wheels 9 a rear side wheel support member 7 a housing 11 to which each wheel support member is coupled in a manner of capable of moving forward and rearward for supporting the base part and front and rear side expansion/shrinkage devices 10a, 10b each of which is arranged between each wheel support member and housing, and can expand and shrink an interval between each wheel support member and housing.
