PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection system for a detection target region having excellent fluorescence detection sensitiveness.SOLUTION: A detection system for a detection target region includes at least an illumination means to irradiate illumination light and irradiate excitation light to a detection target region, a fluorescent material which emits fluorescence by receiving excited light, a first imaging means to image illumination light reflected by the detection target region, and a second imaging means to image the fluorescence emitted from the fluorescent material.
