PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for ovum sampling and embryo transfer, capable of safely, easily and efficiently sampling a fertilized ovum from a small-sized monkey or the like and efficiently transferring an embryo, and to provide an ovum sampling method and an embryo transfer method.SOLUTION: The instrument for ovum sampling and embryo transfer includes, as components: an inner core 1 formed with a metal needle 2； a catheter 4 comprising a narrow diameter tube 5 whose distal end and proximal end formed with a flexible material are opened； a guide catheter to which the inner core 1 or the catheter 4 can be inserted slidably and removably, and which is formed with a flexible material and is elastic, and whose distal end and proximal end are opened and whose distal end is tapered； and a guide tube formed with a hard material, to which the guide catheter or the guide catheter combined with the inner core or the catheter 4 can be inserted. The instrument is used, by being inserted to an opening of uterus in the state of inserting the inner core to the guide catheter and then by removing the inner core 1 and by inserting the catheter 4. The inner core 1 and the catheter 4 are longer than the guide catheter 7, and the guide catheter is longer than the guide tube.
