PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flaky mica powder excellent in oil absorption properties and further combining satisfactory glossy feeling and use feeling.SOLUTION: Provided is flaky mica powder containing flaky mica grains in which edge parts are curled, and in which the median particle diameter of the whole powder is 5 to 30 μm, the average thickness is 0.05 to 0.35 μm, and also, bulk density is 0.05 to 0.10 g/mL.Preferably, its oil absorption is 80 to 120 mL/100 g.
