PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an establishing method of a marrow highly metastatic breast cancer cell strain of breast cancer in which a highly metastatic mouse 4T1E/M3 breast cancer cell strain is further improved and to provide a marrow highly metastatic breast cancer model animal using the established strain.SOLUTION: A marrow highly metastatic mouse breast cancer cell strain is established at a high ratio by employing means that: a mouse breast cancer cell 4T1E/M3 cell strain is used as a parental strain cells having an excellent migration ability in a vertical direction are selected with a dual well comprising fine holes on a bottom part of an inner well then the cells are subcutaneously administered to a mouse to obtain marrow cells from vertebrae screening drug resistant strains from the cells and the drug resistant strains are administered to a mouse. There is also provided a marrow highly metastatic breast cancer model animal in which the marrow highly metastatic mouse breast cancer cell strain is transplanted to a mouse.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】高転移性のマウス4T1E/M3乳癌細胞株をさらに改良して、乳癌の高い骨髄転移能を有する乳癌細胞株の樹立方法を確立すること、並びに当該樹立株を用いた乳癌の骨髄高転移モデル動物の提供。【解決手段】マウス乳癌細胞4T1E/M3細胞株を親株として用いて、内側ウェル底部に微小穴を有する二重ウェルを用いた垂直方向に運動能の高い細胞の選別を行い、次いでマウスに皮下投与して脊椎骨から骨髄細胞を採取し、該細胞から薬剤耐性株を取り出して該薬剤耐性株をマウスに投与するという手段を採用することで、高確率で骨髄高転移性マウス乳癌細胞株を樹立した。当該骨髄高転移性マウス乳癌細胞株を、マウスに移植することによる乳癌の骨髄高転移モデル動物。【選択図】なし
