There is provided a method for detecting anti-freezing of ice cream manufacturing machine, which includes using a cooling cylinder and a cooling system to cool and crystallize ice cream, and using a motor to drive a stirring unit for stirring the ice cream and setting the motor at a fixed rotation speed to stir and cool the ice cream. When the ice cream starts to be crystallized and becomes hard, the motor will increase the load current flowing through the motor so as to maintain the rotation speed. At this moment, a detection unit of the motor will detect the magnitude of the current flowing through the motor.
