SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING PESTICIDE DISTRIBUTION AND PROVIDING PESTICIDE PEDIGREE FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS THROUGHOUT PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION
A method for controlling pesticide distribution for at least one grown agricultural product comprises the steps of: a) defining a grid for the land in which the grown agricultural product is to be harvested b) Providing an open communication network accessible information storage device adapted to receive input of real time data specific to each grid relating to at least one of the grown agricultural products production from at least one source c) Inputting said data into said information storage device and d) utilizing said data as at least: one of a real time decision making tool and a predictive modeling tool to ascertain which section within the grid designation unit need the application of the pesticidal compound. The method may further include the step of maintaining a pesticide pedigree for the grown agricultural products throughout production and distribution of the agricultural product via the open communication network.
