PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a device which can automatically manufacture a shaving cut having a mountainous shape by solving the problem that although there is an existing device which manufactures a shaving cut by cutting while rotating a large-diameter root crop such as a carrot, only cutting does not form a ridge having an angle of 90° or around called a particular "mountain" formed in a shaving cut manufactured by human hands, and therefore does not suffice shapes and tastes.SOLUTION: A root crop shaving/cutting device is provided, which has a shaving/cutting part comprising shaving/cutting means for shaving a root crop and at the same time cut shaved chips in a longitudinal direction, an angle adjustment mechanism that adjusts an angle by which the root crop is pressed in contact with the shaving/cutting part, a shaving means adjustment mechanism that adjusts a shaving width, and a cutting means adjustment mechanism that adjusts a cutting width or a cutting thickness.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】 人参等の大径の根菜類を回転させながら切削してささがきを製造する装置は既存であるが、切削するだけでは、人間の手で製造されるささがきに特有の「山」と呼称される90°前後の角度を有する稜が形成されないので、形状と旨みに関して十分でない。上記「山」を有する形状のささがきを自動的に製造可能な装置を開発する。【解決手段】根菜類を切削すると同時に切削片を長手方向に切断できる切削切断手段を備えた切削切断部を有し、根菜類が該切削切断部に当接押圧される角度を調整する角度調整機構と、切削厚さを調整する切削手段調整機構と、切断幅や切断厚さを調整する切断手段調整機構を有する根菜類切削切断装置を提供する。【選択図】 図1
