PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal device for lavers, at first, excellent in a production efficiency face and a production cost face by the automation of a foreign matter removal operation, and secondly, capable of securely and easily realizing foreign matter removal without defects.SOLUTION: Provided is a foreign matter removal device 1 for lavers A used in the production process of lavers (dry lavers) A and containing: a conveyor 2 and a cutting unit 3. The conveyor 2 conveys the lavers A in a state of being placed one by one, and the cutting unit 3 cuts away foreign matter B stuck to the lavers A by the axial rotation of the cutting tool of a cutting means 14. Namely, the foreign matter removal device 1 contains: a feed part 4 the conveyor 2 a light source 5 a camera 6 a control unit 7 a cutting unit 3 a suction unit 9 a guide plate 10 or the like. Then, in the lavers A, the foreign matter B is cut away inclusive of the circumferential lavers A, the cut-away place forms a recessed shape and is retained without bores by the remaining thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】第1に、異物除去作業の自動化により、生産効率面や生産コスト面に優れると共に、第2に、しかも異物除去が確実かつ不良もなく、簡単容易に実現できる、海苔の異物除去装置を提案する。【解決手段】この海苔Aの異物除去装置1は、海苔(乾燥海苔)Aの生産工程で使用され、コンベア2と切削ユニット3を有している。コンベア2は、海苔Aを一枚ずつ載せて搬送し、切削ユニット3は、切削手段14の切削工具の軸回転により、海苔Aに付着した異物Bを切削除去する。すなわち異物除去装置1は、供給部4,コンベア2,光源5,カメラ6,制御ユニット7,切削ユニット3,吸引ユニット9,ガイドプレート10等を有している。そして海苔Aは、異物Bが周囲の海苔Aもろとも切削除去され、切削除去箇所が凹部状をなし、残った残部肉厚により穴明きなく維持される。【選択図】図2
