Disclosed is Disclosed is an adjuvant composition comprising, (a) one or more (C12-C14)alkyl dimethyl betaine surfactant compounds, and (b) one or more surfactant compounds selected from: sulfonates, which are selected from: (i) compounds according to formula (III) wherein: R6 is phenyl, (C8-C18)alkylphenyl, or (C8-C18)alkylphenoxy, and X+ is an agronomically acceptable cation； (ii) compounds according to formula (III) above, where R6 is (C8-C18)alkylphenyl； and (iii) ammonium xylene sulfonate. Also disclosed is a pesticide composition comprising the adjuvant composition and an effective amount of a pesticide, which is selected from the group consisting of: (i) glufosinate, glyphosate, water soluble glufosinate salts, water soluble glyphosate salts, and any mixture thereof； (ii) potassium, sodium, isopropyl amine, and ammonium salts of glyphosate； and (iii) glyphosate isopropyl amine salt.
