Disclosed is an adjuvant composition comprising, (a) one or more (C12-C14)alkyl dimethyl betaine surfactant compounds, and (b) one or more surfactant compounds selected from: alkoxylated alcohols, which are selected from: (i) compounds according to formula (VII) wherein: each R12 is independently H or methyl, R13 is (C6-C22)alkyl, q is an integer from 1 to 50, or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof； and (ii) ethoxylated oleyl alcohol. Also disclosed is a pesticide composition comprising the adjuvant composition and an effective amount of a pesticide, which is selected from the group consisting of: (i) glufosinate, glyphosate, water soluble glufosinate salts, water soluble glyphosate salts, and any mixture thereof； (ii) potassium, sodium, isopropyl amine, and ammonium salts of glyphosate； and (iii) glyphosate isopropyl amine salt.
