SOLUTION: The illuminating device for medical use includes a frame body 11, a light source held to the frame body and the grip part 20 detachably mounted to the side part of the frame body. A mechanism of a detachable mounting part of the grip part and frame body includes a male type tapered fitting shaft part 16 formed ON one side a female type tapered fitting cylinder part 23 formed ON the other side and concentrically fitted to the male type tapered fitting shaft part an external thread part 17 formed at the base part of the male type tapered fitting shaft part and an internal thread member 25 externally mounted to the female type tapered fitting cylinder part rotatably around its axis and screwed with the external thread part. Fitting shape that can prevent relative axis rotation in the mutual concentric fitting state is formed in a circumferential regular manner ON the outer peripheral surface of the male type tapered fitting shaft part and ON the inner peripheral surface of the female type tapered fitting cylinder part 23, and the external thread part and the internal thread member can be screwed in the fitted state of the male type tapered fitting shaft and female type tapered fitting cylinder part.
