PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for bathing which enables a bathing care giver to perform tilting rotation operation in the back and forth direction of a legless chair part where a bathing person is sat, with less operating load and capable of reducing a sense of anxiety or fear a bathing person feels by reducing movement of a head part of the bathing person caused by tilting rotation of the legless chair part.SOLUTION: The wheelchair for bathing is constituted so that a legless chair part 4 is provided in the back and forth direction with respect to a vehicle table 2 running on the floor surface in such a way that tilting rotation is possible, wherein a tilting rotation center of or near the legless chair part 4 is set so that it is located at a center of gravity of added weight of each weight of the legless chair part 4 and the bathing person seated on the legless chair 4 or the weight of the bathing person, and the legless chair part 4 is tilting rotated along an arc trajectory while suppressing position movement of the center of gravity as much as possible.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】入浴者が着座した座椅子部の前後方向への起倒回動操作を入浴介護者がより少ない操作荷重で楽に行うことができるようにするとともに、座椅子部の起倒回動による入浴者の頭部の変動を低減し入浴者の感じる不安感や恐怖感を緩和することのできる入浴用車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】床面を走行する車台2に対し座椅子部4を前後方向に起倒回動可能に具設した入浴用車椅子において、前記座椅子部4の起倒回動中心を、前記座椅子部4及び前記座椅子部4上に着座した入浴者の各重量の加算重量または入浴者の重量の重心または重心近傍に位置するよう設定し、重心の位置変動を極力抑えながら前記座椅子部4を円弧軌道上に沿って起倒回動させるように構成した。【選択図】 図4
