PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair also used as an electric vehicle designed so that casters of an electric wheelchair do not touch the ground when used as an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A caster unit 32 supporting each of caster wheels 326 to flexibly move up and down is attached to a portion corresponding to right and left legs at the front end of a frame 21 of an electric wheelchair part 2. A steering unit 3 is provided with a front tire 41 steered by a handle 46. A controller body 36 of the electric wheelchair part 2 detects whether or not the steering unit 3 is mounted via a connector 60.
