PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair that is equipped with a rear wheel on both sides of a frame constituting a chair, a caster on both sides of the front, and a foot support on which to place legs in front of the casters, thereby making getting on and off easy.SOLUTION: A wheelchair is equipped with lifting and lowering means by which a front side of a frame supported by casters 5, 5 is lifted and lowered. When a user gets on and off the wheelchair, foot supports 7, 7 are caused to touch the ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】 椅子を構成するフレームの後方両側には後輪を取付け、前方両側にはキャスターを取付け、またキャスターの前方には足を載せる為のフットサポートを備え、楽に乗降りすることが出来る車椅子の提供。【解決手段】 上記キャスター５，５によって支持されるフレームの前方側が昇降する昇降手段を取付け、車椅子に乗降りする際には上記フットサポート７，７が地面に接地するようにしている。【選択図】 図２
