Disclosed are a ginseng cultivation apparatus for apartment type buildings and a method for cultivating ginseng using the same. The ginseng cultivation apparatus of the present invention comprises: a cultivation bed (20) for accommodating a culture medium (24) in which ginseng seedlings can be transplanted a nutrient solution supply device (30) for supplying a nutrient solution to the culture medium (24) a plurality of LED lamps (42) for supplying light energy to the ginseng seedlings and a reciprocation means (40) for reciprocating the LED lamps with respect to the ginseng seedlings, wherein a temperature control device (36) is further provided to control the internal temperature of the cultivation bed (20).
