PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of urine to an outer in a use mode for simple exchange and cause the urine to smoothly move to the outer in a use mode for auxiliary absorption.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes: an absorber 2 a liquid-permeable top sheet 3 for covering a skin side of the absorber 2 a liquid-permeable first back sheet 4 for covering a non-skin side of the absorber 2 and a liquid-impermeable second back sheet 5 for covering a non-skin side of the liquid-permeable first back sheet 4. Adhesive layers 6 are formed at the non-skin side of the first back sheet 4, and the second back sheet 5 is peelably stuck to the adhesive layer 6. The second back sheet 5 is so disposed at both sides of the top sheet 3 and the first back sheet 4 as to wrap around both side edges of the top sheet 3 and the first back sheet 4 and to extend to the skin side of the top sheet 3.
