PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip member in which a front face and an inner peripheral surface of a rod body of a former side is hard to be scratched when a tip rod is received into the rod body of the former side.SOLUTION: A tip member 10 includes a rod holder 10b mounted in the front end of a tip rod 20, a small diameter part 10a provided at the front end of the rod holder 10b, and a collar 10c provided at the front end of the small diameter part 10a. Also, the small diameter part 10a is formed to be reduced in diameter toward the front end. Also, the small diameter part 10a is formed so as to become the diameter smaller than the diameter of the front end of the rod holder 10b over the entire length.
