PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair allowing even a week person such as the physically-challenged and the elderly to easily climb over a step.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 includes, on a body frame 2: a seat part 5 on which a user sits a travel part comprising a pair of left/right front wheels 3, 3, and a pair of left/right rear wheels 4, 4 an auxiliary wheel 17 at a tip of a hydraulic cylinder 11 and the hydraulic cylinder 11 is supported by the body frame 2 so as to rotationally turn to the forward/backward.
