PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor, when an inner/outer periphery of a lateral annular member is reversed, capable of smoothly involving a sleeve.SOLUTION: A lateral annular member 2 of a retractor 1 comprises a first annular member 5 and a second annular member 6 that are formed of a same material into a same size and have flexibility, and is formed by joining the second annular member 6 in the inverted state to the inner periphery side of the first annular member 5 in the non-inverted state. The annular members are so configured that first holding power for holding the first state where the non-inverted first annular member 5 is located at the outside and the inverted-state second annular member 6 is located at the inside is equal to second holding power for holding a second state where the non-inverted second annular member 6 is located at the outside and the inverted-state first annular member 5 is located at the inside.
