PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a disposable absorbent article which is capable of efficiently manufacturing the disposable absorbent article which releases the excessive tightening of a leg periphery elastic member to a crotch part and has a shrink degree around a leg of the leg periphery elastic member properly relaxed, and a method for manufacturing the disposable absorbent article.
SOLUTION: A continuous sheet material 51 to which first and second continuous elastic members 54 and 55 for forming front and rear side leg periphery elastic members are applied, is passed through the gap between a cutter roller having a plurality of cutter units and an anvil roller. By this method, left and right front side leg periphery weakening sections 28, left and right rear side leg periphery weakening sections 29 and first and second crotch weakening sections 31 and 32 are once formed to the respective parts corresponding to the first and second continuous elastic members 54 and 55.
