PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trim loss by effectively utilizing the trim.
SOLUTION: The pull-up disposable diaper includes an external sheet 12 having leg insertion parts and a first absorber 56 disposed in a part other than the leg insertion parts in the external sheet 12. In manufacturing the diaper, at least a portion on the external sheet 12 to make the leg inserting part is formed by bonding an outer layer 12S and a liquid permeable inner layer 12T to each other. A second absorber 12C, different from the first absorber 56, is disposed within the portion LB to make the leg insertion part between the layers 12S and 12T, and after that, the portion LB in the external sheet 12 to make the leg insertion part is cut off from the other main portion, and the cut-off portion LB and the other main portion are made as independent absorbent articles having different absorbers 56 and 12C. The method of manufacturing the absorbent article including the above process and characterized by the process is provided.
