1434177 Coloured maneb SOC PROCIDA 15 July 1974 [13 July 1973] 31191/74 Heading C2C [Also in Division A5] Coloured maneb is prepared by reacting a soluble salt of manganese, in aqueous solution, with a soluble salt of ethylene bisthiocarbamic acid at a slightly basic pH and effecting the reaction in a reaction medium containing in solution at least one colorant. The preferred colorant is a blue or violet colorant or a mixture of the two, a suitable violet die is "fuller violet 54B" (a triaminotriphenylmethane derivative) added in an amount of 1??5-2??5% by wt. A stabilizer such as 1,8,3,6-diendomethyleno 1,3,6,8-tetra-azacyclodecane, is also preferably added.
