PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat enabling easy attaching and detaching of a reel.SOLUTION: The lower face of the reel seat 10 of a fishing rod at the tip section of the upper reel seat body 11 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 11b arranged in the axial direction and inclined to increase the diameter toward the butt end. A front cover 13 is placed at the tip side of the upper reel seat body 11.
