porous composite membrane of polymethylmethacrylate / chitosan / polyaniline - process for obtaining and using it for the extraction, purification and concentration of biomolecules the extraction and purification of biomolecules are key steps in several molecular biology protocols. in particular, the concentration of nucleic acids of good quality and high productivity is increasingly necessary in procedures involving genetic sequencing, diagnosis of diseases and forensic criminology, among other applications. in this context, in the present invention, the preparation of a new porous composite membrane and its use in kits or protocols for extraction, purification and concentration of biomolecules is reported. the composite membrane consists of a non-conducting polymer membrane produced using the electrospinning technique, which is later functionalized with the use of a cationic polysaccharide and then by a conducting polymer. in the specification, the production of the membrane in its preferred form is demonstrated, which is composed of polymethylmethacrylate / chitosan / polyaniline, and its effective use as an active material in procedures for obtaining good quality nucleic acids from samples dissolved in aqueous media or whole human blood. the pmma / chi / pani membrane has a positive surface charge, which can be modulated by simply changing the pH of the medium. thus, nucleic acids, which have a negative surface charge in their structure, due to the presence of phosphate groups, can be associated with the composite membrane through electrostatic interactions. the method can also be extended to the extraction, purification, separation and concentration of other biomolecules or molecules that have negative charges available to perform ion exchange with that membrane.membrana compósita porosa de polimetilmetacrilato/quitosana/polianilina - processo para sua obtenção e seu uso para a extração, purificação e concentração de biomoléculas a extração e purificação de bio
